Sequoian LLC (“Sequoian,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates Coach-AI, an AI-powered fitness coaching application at nomad.coach (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.
Account information: name, email address, and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see it in plain text). Signing in with Google gives us your name and email from Google.
Fitness/profile information you provide: age, height, weight, fitness goals, activity level, experience level, equipment, workout preferences, dietary restrictions, and injury or medical-limitation details you choose to describe. This is optional, but it's what lets the AI Coach personalize your experience and avoid recommending exercises that conflict with an injury you've told it about.
Fitness activity: workouts completed, weight entries, meals logged, your weekly schedule, and your workout streak.
AI Coach conversations: text transcripts of what you and the AI Coach say to each other, saved so the coach can refer back to them, plus a periodically-generated summary of durable facts (for example, a recurring injury or a preference you've mentioned) used to personalize future conversations.
Voice/audio: when you speak to the AI Coach, your audio streams in real time to OpenAI to convert speech to text and generate a spoken reply. We do not record or store the audio itself — only the resulting text transcript described above is saved.
Translator Mode: a separate feature that translates between languages using the same voice connection as the AI Coach. Nothing you say or type in Translator Mode is saved anywhere — not the audio, not the text, not a summary. It is not added to your AI Coach conversation history or memory. This is a deliberate design choice, verified in our production code.
Payment information: entered directly into Stripe's own secure checkout — we never see your full card number. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs to keep your account access in sync with your billing status.
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking service. We do not collect or verify date of birth.
To provide and personalize the Service (workouts, nutrition guidance, and AI Coach or Translator Mode responses that account for injuries or dietary needs where applicable); to process subscription payments and manage account access; to communicate with you about your account; to maintain security; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

No other third party receives your information, except where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a business transfer (this policy would continue to apply).
California treats health-related information (the injury/medical details described above) as “sensitive personal information.” We use it only to personalize coaching and avoid unsafe exercise recommendations — never for advertising. See Section 6 for your right to limit its use.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. Canceling your paid subscription does not delete your account or your data — it only stops future billing; your information stays in our systems exactly as before, and you can resubscribe at any time without losing your history.
If you want your account and personal data deleted, that is a separate action from canceling your subscription. Email infosafety2022@gmail.com with a deletion request. We verify the request comes from the account holder and then delete the account and its associated personal data. We commit to completing verified deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. (This is a request-based process — we do not currently delete data automatically on any fixed schedule.) We may retain limited records where required by law, such as payment records for tax purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, request a copy, request correction, and request deletion (see Section 5). California residents may also direct us to limit use of sensitive personal information, and have the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To exercise any right, email infosafety2022@gmail.com; we respond within the time required by applicable law.
The Service is intended for users 15 and older and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and will delete it if we learn we have. If you are 15–17, see the parental/guardian consent representation in our Terms of Service.
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls from our infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
